What is a Neuroma?
It is also called a "pinched nerve" or nerve tumor. It is benign but can cause pain, a burning sensation, tingling, or numbness between toes and in the ball of the foot.
Our Goal
Seek podiatric medical care when you feel the first sign of pain or discomfort. If left untreated, neuromas can get worse. Early treatment relieves pressure on areas where the neuroma develops. We will examine and X-ray the affected area and suggest the best treatment plan for you.
Always try to come to us early, so we can treat you quickly! Carol A. Akerman, DPM is locally owned in Knoxville, TN. Call us
